Won a prize | McDonald’s TikTok contest

I took part in a McDonald’s TikTok contest in May 2021. In this YouTube video, I show you all the details, including my contest entry. The contest ended on 13th May 2021.

In my video entry, I performed Juggling – I juggled 5 balls and did a power finish by catching one of the balls with my foot. Most of the other entries showed contestants singing or dancing.

TikTok users who participated in this TikTok video contest had to record a video of themselves doing a “duet” with the original McDonald’s TikTok video. In the TikTok app, there is a special feature that allows users to duet with other users. This Video Duet is done within the TikTok platform.

As it turned out, I won a prize in the contest! The prize is SGD 200.00 worth of McDonald’s gift certificates. However, I can’t collect the prize at the time of writing this post. At this point in time, Singapore is in the middle of a pandemic lockdown. Meanwhile, I’ll have to wait. Once the authorities lift the lockdown, I’ll be able to make arrangements to collect the prize. Update: I have collected my prize!

It took some effort to make the video duet. Therefore, I’m very happy to win a prize. Yes, it goes without saying that “I’m lovin’ it”!

It’s possible that you might be wondering how I was able to catch the final ball with my foot. That skill didn’t come in an instant. I trained myself to attain that skill. While I’ve been juggling and performing for many years, I increased my focus on using my feet while juggling in 2017.
